Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant covering minor accounting roles. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting both administrative and financial functions within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Administrative & Support Tasks:
1) Manage and organise office files, documents and records, and also assist with general day-to-day office administrative functions. (General office tasks include photocopying, scanning, and managing office documentation filing)
2) Provide excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional attitude while handling all operational support function enquiries. (Includes good handling of incoming calls and emails, and redirecting them to the appropriate person or department when required)
3) Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
4) Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other administrative documents.
5) Provide support to various departments with day-to-day administrative needs.
6) Align with the company’s need to market and develop brand awareness – and join the on-the-ground team at selected events to reach out to the public.
7) Good understanding of industry-specific terminology and practices: healthcare, IT and finance.
Accounting Tasks:
1) Coordinate with the accounting team (currently outsourced) in relevant processes including the preparation of payment vouchers and keeping track of payable and receivable transactions.
2) Handle basic accounting tasks, such as expense reports and invoice processing, and collaborate with the Group’s finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
Requirements:
Proven experience in both administrative and accounting roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and Microsoft Office Suite is an added advantage.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
